Lady Donishisa Patrice Ballard is a native of Chicago Illinois, as the youngest child to the union of Derrick Sr. and Patricia Hunter. Donishisa is a dedicated wife to Pastor David Ballard II and the proud mother of Taylor, David III, Daniel, Dayna and Dylan. Donishisa has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Chicago State University, a Master’s of Art in Teaching from Rockford University and a Master’s of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.

Donishisa was born and raised in holiness at the Greater Harvest M.B Church under the late Rev. Henry Bracken in Chicago, Illinois. Currently, Lady Ballard provides leadership to the “Women Ministry” and “Praise Team” under the leadership of her husband at The WORD Worship Center in Rockford, Illinois.

 

Donishisa is known world-wide for her melodious voice and has lead songs with artists such as: Pastor Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago, Pastor JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise, Ricky Dillard, Bishop Larry D. Trotter and the SHS Choir, Walter Whitman and the SCC, Joshua’s Troop, Kevin Vasser, Vashawn Mitchell, Dexter Walker and ZM, and the list goes on. God has also equipped Donishisa to serve as an evangelical speaker delivering messages that inspire, encourage, and bring effective change in the lives of those who embrace the word of God.
