Elder Lance E. Humphrey

Elder Lance E. Humphrey is the Proud Senior Pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church located at 1535 Dewey Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Humphrey assumed the position of Senior Pastor on April 4, 2003. He was ordained as a minister on August 2, 1998, at Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, under Bishop Jerome H. Ross Sr. He is the husband of Minister of Music Nichole and the proud father of Alexa Nichole Humphrey. The family shares a very important role in the ministry alongside Pastor Humphrey. Under the leadership of Pastor Lance Humphrey, the church has grown from 35 members to over 900. Pastor Humphrey spear-headed an extremely successful building campaign: "The Rehoboth Blessing Building Fund."

In 2008, construction of the new church was begun and on March 8, 2009, Pastor Humphrey held his first service in the Edifice. In 2010, work on Phase Two of the building project was started and is due to be completed soon. Pastor Humphrey is anointed, appointed, and approved by God to sow His Word with the people. When he sows the Word, he is just like a tree planted by the rivers of water, strong and mighty. Mighty and effective, as he preaches, Jesus Saves. But most importantly he is saved, sanctified, and satisfied with Jesus.
