Mission

The Erica Alexis Bell Memorial Scholarship has been established to motivate and provide support to those high school graduates desiring to further their education by enrolling in a college, university or other institution of higher learning. This policy of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church outlines the requirements for applicants, the time lines for submission of required documents and the date for the award of scholarship to successful applicants. Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church is committed to helping those qualifying young people achieve a higher education as a part of her mission for the future of God’s children. We, at Mt. Zion, believe that each student who desires a college education should be encouraged and supported both financially and spiritually to achieve that goal. The sole purpose of the Erica Alexis Bell Memorial Scholarship is to assist the awarded individual in furthering his or her educational goals.
